Energy infrastructure under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have faced increased strikes in recent weeks

Simultaneously, a young boy was lost their life in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to regional authorities.

Russian forces has escalated assaults on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while officials has called for "real steps" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, European nations and the Group of Seven - in delivering defensive weapons and implementing penalties," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty missiles targeted the country's power systems, describing such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government officials told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to destroy the national power system, with strikes already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated energy workers and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
