I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
